Finally Did Something On The CB750
Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I was busy all week and had to do some work at work. HAHAHA Anyway Wednesday night I got out in the garage again to do some grinding on the CB's welds. Got them mostly done just have to finish some parts with a file and others need a spot or two more of welding done. No real pics just this one of my hand and the grinder to prove I am doing something.
And oh yeah that slacker that hangs around my garage, talking shit about my parts and then taking them for his own build showed up again to do some work on his Ironhead. He stole yet another part, this time a Harley bag, for his electrics. If you want to see more of his bike (that is built with most of my parts) check out Mike's blog. Here is a pic of his bike, it's almost ready to go and just in time for the snow. HAHAHAHA

Ronny James Dio
As a kid I was (and still am) into heavy metal and Dio was in my top 3 always. I had his all his cassettes (for those young guys a cassette was like a CD is today) and always had at least 2 in my car at all times. He was more than a singer, he was a story teller and brought the song to life. RIP Ronny.

More Work On The Accord
Still no bike updates as I am trying to get my wife's car and Durango's rust holes cleaned up for inspection next month. I did a bunch of domestic type things around the house but also got to cutting the rust (see pic above rear wheel well) out and metal welded in. I then used bondo to level it out. Maybe tomorrow night I will get to sanding some down. Steve showed up too with his Montero and we welded some patches on his frame. He had 3 holes just behind the drivers rear tire. We cleaned them up and made some patches then welded them and undercoated the whole frame. His car is due for inspection this month. Anyway here is my son acting like (as his shirt says) a Fruit Loop in front of the car I was working on.

Sexy Ass
Found this little gem while searching today. Just wish the trash barrel wasn't there but I think it would be a great advertisement for Sterilite.

Mike's Bike Got "Customized"
Did this to my buddy Mike's bike because I know how much he hates LEDs and neons on bikes. I got a deal at the local Autozone $30 worth the lights for $6 and just had to do it. All we have to do is get the transmission together and it's ready to go. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Heart Attack!!
Man I almost had one when I opened up my explanation of benefits mail I got from my insurance. As most of you know I had a heart procedure and was in the hospital from 6am to 4pm. Here is the total cost of the operation and the second number is what I owe WOWOWOW. That is 12K more than I paid for my house in 1992.

Getting Cold Out
So I thought I would bring warm thoughts to everyone before the snow flies. I like the girls not the bikes they are cleaning. 2nd pic is my favorite.
I Hate Working On Exhaust Systems
I spent 4+ hours yesterday working on my wife's Accord we got with my buddy Steve. The muffler was broke off at the collector (?) after the catalytic converter. I got a reducer to put into the collector I was going to weld in so I could then go to pipe. While under cleaning it to weld it broke at the converter. So basically we fixed the exhaust from the converter back. Having it break off did make welding easier and it broke off because the guy I bought it from welded the pipe to the converter and did the shittiest job I have ever seen and believe me I have done some shitty jobs. And oh yeah the hanger was broken off in front of the converter and had ripped the pipe apart there too so I welded a patch on the pipe and then rewelded the hanger to my patch. But the total cost for the job was about $45 so it makes it worth while. Boy was that fun huh Steve.

The Motorcycle Storage Is Done
Finished the metal roof last night and just in time, because we are supposed to have several inches of rain over the next few days. I built a loft area 6' up and 6' out from the back to store boxes and crap. As you can see it is already getting full. And the ramp is on hinges and folds up against the garage door so I don't lose any more yard space.

To Do Lists Suck
Well I didn't get what I was hoping to do on the shed this weekend. I did get the siding done with the help of Steve on Saturday. And on Sunday got the metal roof from Home Depot with Ande's help. Then Steve and Mike showed up to help get it on the roof. We got it cut to length and pre-drilled for the screws. And also managed to get the eight sheets up. All that is left is the ridge cap and edge covers that will need to be angle cut so I will have to take my time and make the door lockable too. I will post pics probably tomorrow because by the time I get home tonight it will be dark.
A Little More Work On the CB750
My wife's frame is coming along great. Last Thursday we got out there and finished tacking the frame together so it's now a loop. I will have to finish welding it then into the grinding and paint. Anyway here is some pic for you.
And one of me and Ande watching Mike work on his Ironhead.
Looky What I Won!
Over at the Chop Cult one of the members, Boston, had a poetry contest for a PBR tap handle and guess who won! Yup me. It was a lot of fun with some bashing between competitors but in the end they knew who the real poet was and the tap handle will be coming my way. I want to thank Boston for putting up a great prize and giving me something to do last week while I was at work. HAHAHA

To Do List
OK I have to buy my metal roof on Saturday and have it on the shed by Sunday with the rest of the siding done and door knob able to lock! This is the goal for the weekend. I need to be able to complete it so I can move the stuff out of the garage and start work on my wife's new car for inspection next month. I did finally get out to the garage and work on the CB750 for my wife. The frame is all tacked together and looks good. I will post pics tomorrow morning as they are still on the camera at home.

Celtics Game Last Night
I won some tix from a local radio station to see the 1st preseason game against the 76ers last night at the Verizon Arena in Manchester NH. The Celtics mopped the floor with them. And it was the debut of Shaq in the green and white. I don't care if you like him or not, he will help the Celts fill a huge hole they had down low.
New Old Car For The Wife
So I have been looking for a gas saver for my wife to drive so the gas gulping Durango with the 5.9 can sit. I found this '91 Honda Accord right up the road on Craigslist. The engine sounds great, very clean exterior, minor rust over the drivers side rear wheel well and reattach the exhaust. It broke right after the catalytic converter so I will get to do some welding. The best part I only paid $425 for it.

My Buddies Mitsubishi Montero
So anyway I still haven't been able to finish the shed or work on my wife's chop at all. Mostly because of the heart operation and not being able to lift over 20lbs. But I did get to hang out at my friend Steve's the past two nights working on his Montero. He went to the store and when he came out smelled gas. After looking under he saw his lines off the top of the fuel tank were pissing gas out. Well Steve, myself and Mike dropped the tank, cut back the rotted out steel and went with longer hose. Hooked it up and it was leaking right were it met the tank too. Pulled it out again and called it a night. Last night we took the fuel pump out and cut off the rusted line at top of the pump then drilled the hole out a little smaller than the fuel hose, squeezed it in and clamped it to the metal line that will be inside the tank. Hooked it up and no leaks WOOHOO. Put the tank back in and the truck is running again. And oh yeah the reason we did this instead of a new pump, cost to do what we did $27, cost of a new pump $487?!?!?!?! WTF Here is a stock pic of the offending SUV.
