New Grips

Bought some new Coke bottle grips because my metal/rubber combo ones that were on the bike when I got it just were so uncomfortable and not my style being chrome. These things are comfy and I wish I had done it years ago. Got them off Ebay for $11 shipped and it included the throttle sleeve. I also like the way it matches the red speedo and pinstripe on the tank.

What I Worked On Last Weekend

Went camping and finished a couple 12 packs of each. Baxter Brewing from Lewiston Maine had theirs in a can for as it said "backpacking, sports events, Etc" Because most places don't allow glass. And I have to say it was great, a micro brew in a can, and really nice taste, I'm in love. No more Bud crap at the Nascar races for me.

Work In The Garage

Shut up Onespeed yes I finally got out and did some. HAHAHA I fixed my Wife's V Star's oil leak, blinker, carbs cleaned, gas tank noise and sticky throttle. Then I tightened every bolt including my z bars and risers, that were dangerously loose, carb cleaned, added blinks and fixed some random minor things that were bugging me. And they are both now inspected and LEGAL holy shit that's the first time in a while, don't know if I'll ever be able to enjoy a ride again. Sorry about the pre used pics but I am horrible about remembering bringing my camera to the garage.

Another One I Like

Just plain awesome, very simplistic, nothing over the top or too crazy. Just let the bike speak for itself. Here's a link to more pics if you want THEM.

Leather Part II

Well it's finished, I even stained the belt I did earlier to match the new quiver.

Leather Working

Well my wife wanted another quiver for her arrows in the same design as the plastic one I made her a year ago. She said it was what she was used to and felt comfy with. So here is a preview of it. I have finished the design and need to do the rest of the lacing holes. I also have to stain and coat it.

Chop I like

Found this on TCU and I like it. I really like the dirt/street bike look to it. It is a Suzuki Savage/Boulevard 250.
