The Chopper Underground Bike Build Off

The build off begins 1/1/11 and lasts till 3/31/11. If you want to see a great bunch of guys build a great variety of choppers in their backyards, kitchens, and garages click the link TCU . There seems to be a bunch of Honda CB's in this years BBO but there is also a couple Indians, Harleys, some Suzukis and Yamahas and even a Triumph. And I can almost bet (just my gut talking here) the winner will probably end up in The Horse Back Street Chopper Magazine with TCU having a monthly article in it. So come on over join TCU and watch some great bikes being created.
Here's some early pics of what they have.

Old Motorcycle Ad

4 Days Till Christmas

Still No Bike Updates

But I did get the rust fixed on the Durango, so once I hit the Megabucks I will get it inspected and registered. I am hoping tonight to get out into the garage to do some work on a snowthrower that was left off to be repaired by a customer of mine. Then maybe onto the CB750 this holiday weekend.

Ready For Winter

That's what I've been doing this past weekend. Put the lawn furniture away, cover the camper, snow thrower on the rider mower, motorcycles in the shed, blah blah blah. Anyway I am basically set for winter. I still have to fix some rust on the Durango then it's back to bikes. Oh yeah I want to build a cab cover for my snow thrower too, like the one below. I am thinking some conduit and clear heavy plastic.

Mike's Sportster Is Alive Again!!!

We got it running on Sunday and it sounded good. Still need some final adjustments. The smoke is from the oil that was everywhere after the teardown and rebuild so ( In the words of Ande) No Worries.
