Tire Changer
Bought this at Tractor Supply yesterday. It works great Wally World wanted about $30 a tire to take tires off one set of rims and put on another then extra for balancing. This cost just under $55 I had 4 tires off rims in under 10 minutes and then took the rear off and replaced with good rubber in under 15 minutes. I still have the fronts to do but damn this thing is fun and it will do motorcycle tires too. Now it will be just balancing for $7 each.
Hard to make out but I drilled and set 2 lags in the concrete could do 4 but 2 was plenty.
The arm on the left under the tire is the bead breaker works sweet. Then put the tire up and use the bar rotating around clockwise and the tire falls off.
This literally took 2 minutes from breaking the bead to tire on the floor. Putting the new one on took a little longer and will take some getting used to but was under 5 minutes.

Working On Shit
This weekend I did as most do that I know, worked on motors and vehicles. First was the exhaust AGAIN on my wife's Honda Accord along with front brakes and tires. Then it was the engine swap on the boat and getting it going as seen on the previous post. Then I moved to cleaning the carb on my son's go kart so he can ride it around. This is one of the carb in the gas tanks but it was an older version... man what a pain in the ass. You couldn't get to the bolts and even if I could they were star bolts so I would need one foot long star set. I took it off cleaned it, it was nasty, the filter was plugged, put it back together and guess what, I missed one of the linkage pieces that go from the carb to the gas pedal line. Which is located under the gas tank and runs through very small crack between the tank and the engine so off it all comes again... damn that was fun. All that and you know what really pisses me off is I can't fit between the set and steering wheel so I don't even get to rip on it. I am going to have to adjust it next year because my 7 year old is almost too big for it too.

Deals For The Weekend
So I did a couple deals this weekend and I thought I would show them off.
First 3 metal flakes for $20
The Campground we are staying at next year only allows a 10hp on the lake so I needed to take the 28hp off and I now have it for sale on CL. We were only going to use the boat for fishing and cruising so, and this is the only time I'll probably ever say this, horsepower really doesn't matter. My fear is it would look too small but it doesn't and it's in better condition and even starts so I don't have to work on the other one anymore.

Friday Ride
So I took the day off and went for a 3 hour ride Friday. Up north a little then into Maine back to NH and home the slow way.
My favorite view can see for miles.
Went by my families old camp, we don't own it anymore.
Stopped for lunch (cute brunette at the counter). Hopefully this is the only time my bike and an ambulance are in the same pic.
Got home took the dog for a ride.
And thats where it all went downhill. The exhaust fell off the car. Yippee more shit to fix.

Stupid Deer
So me and the wife have an archery place we like in Maine. We went there this past weekend and while she was shooting inside I went with my son around to the outdoor range. This is what I saw, a deer right behind the target. Good thing I am not a hunter just a target shooter. HAHAHA Stupid Deer.

Look What I Found
Went out Sunday to check a Dodge Magnum 440 out with a friend and these were parked out behind it. The guy won't sell though, he said I am going to restore some day.... yeah right. Man I really wanted one of them.

New Shoes For The Honda
Found these on Craigslist last Saturday four BMW aluminum rims and Faulken tires with shit tons of tread, even the little nubs are still intact. For..... are you ready...... $65. Yup pretty happy about it. It still took all the money I had left on a non pay week but it was needed and too good a deal to pass up. And they bolt right on to the Honda.

Spent Saturday Chopping
Wood that is. Introduced my son to a wood splitter. We now have enough wood for camping to last two years at least.
