My New Slogan For Life

And today it started. Those that know me understand those that don't will soon enough.

Cigar Box Guitar

Made another guitar or more like a ukulele. It was a small cigar box so I made the whole thing a little on the small side. It is for a friend of mine and it's the brand he smokes. I didn't do it to hook to an amp because it will most likely be a piece of wall art.

Fixin' Rust

I hate working on cars as you all know and I hate doing body work most of all so guess what I got to do on my Friday off... Yup do body work on a car. My wife's car flunked inspection because of rust in the strut towers. We just got the car and I never looked there or never would have thought to but from now on I will. Anyway I welded the new piece of metal, over my head as I sat on the ground. As I was welding I smelt something burning, I lifted my mask and noticed my crotch was smoking, and not the good kind of smoking... if there is a good kind. After putting out the fire in my pants I laid some Bondo to keep moisture out and sprayed a bed liner coating over the whole thing.

Look What I Found

So I brought the Durango to the scrap metal/junk yard yesterday and picked up some cash. On my way out to the front gate my son spots this in the corner. I had to stop and check it out, sweet old Apache Fleetside. In damn nice condition, wish I had the time and money for yet another unfinished project.
