Now I like homebuilt choppers and I have always wanted a crotch rocket but this is just wrong.

Keene Swap Meet Sunday
Went to the swap yesterday, yes that's right I went 1 1/2 days after getting out of heart surgery, can't miss a chance to find good stuff. Here's some pics.
Can you read the price on this Harley? hardtail frame, yup $100 wish I had more money.
Really liked this bike and right back at ya Mike! Nice Harley Shovelhead chopper. I will be putting more pics of this one up later.
This brings a tear to my eye. They wanted $700 and would deliver for free. It was all Jap bikes, Saw a CB750 and other Hondas along with a Suzuki a Yamaha and a couple Kawasaki KZ750's.
The one Mike wanted. Nice old Harley Servi-Car
Couple of Indian Motorcycles for sale one all original and one all restored.
These were the finds for the day Ande got the Honda tank, clubman bars and CB750 manual, Mike got the fender and bearing race (for $1) and I got the Suzuki tank and gauntlet gloves for my wife. The gloves were $35 a pair but were in a clearance box for $1 each. When I got home I jimmied the cap off the tank and it's like brand new not a bit of rust in it.
There were a ton of great Flatheads, Panheads, Knuckleheads, Shovelheads, Ironheads, Triumphs, Japs and parts and I will be using some of the pics on my Inspiration posts in the future.

Wife's CB750
Well we did a little work on the CB750 about a week ago. We finished the wishbone extension and raked it out about 5 degrees more to fit the girder in. We are working on the upper legs that go from the back bone to the tires and then I'll weld it together. Here it is all lined up with the Sporty tank and girder on it.
Heart Procedure
Sorry for the lapse in posting the past couple of days. I went in and had a minor heart procedure done yesterday. I am on the mend now and will be posting some pics later today and some more on Sunday after I crawl around the Keene swapmeet. So look for updates shortly.

No XS For You
Well I ran into another Craigslist troll, the one that had the XS400. Had the trade all set up and he went out last night and decided after 7 years to get it running and then emailed me and backed out of the deal and raised the price. I emailed him and let him know there are two types of people Men that keep their words and Craigslist Trolls that don't and he now knows which one he is. ASSHOLE.

Getting Another XS400
So I worked a trade with a guy for his 1981 XS400. I am supposed to get it this Sunday and only time will tell if he holds his end of the bargain and doesn't sell it out from under me. Anyway here it is.

Mikey The Seamstress
Mike was over last night and wanted to get some patches sewn on his vest. My wife, who's a quilter, gave him lessons on her sewing machine. I think her quilt group is looking for one more. HAHAHAHA Just kidding because he sewed as good as he welds................................and that's not a compliment.

Inspiration
This was one of the first XS's that I found years ago that really made me want to build a brat style bike, just nice and clean.
And this next one makes me want to build a long, low, drag/cafe hotrod. This one is just plain sweeeeet.

Motorcycle Storage Shed Update III
Here is what it looks like sided and with the garage door and 36" steel door in and framed. Some of the boards on the front are 16" across. I still have to do the ramp and stair, eves, trim and the batten that will cover all the cracks where the siding boards meet. And oh yeah the steel roof too when I get some $, it is tar papered for now though.
Indian Larry Bikes
I was going thru my old pics and found these from about 3 years ago that I took at a show in Boston and I thought I would post 'em. Definitely some cool bikes he is missed.

OK OK OK here's some chop pics
We did some work on my wife's CB750 about 2 weeks ago and I never posted a pic so here you go. We extended the wishbone 2 1/2" and added about 5 degrees of rake to get the twisted girder in. I still have extend the back legs and tack them then weld the whole thing. Sorry for the crappy cell pic but it will have to do.

Inspiration
I have been so busy building my shed the past 3 weeks I haven't done shit in the garage. A couple more weeks and it should be done and I will be all set to put my stuff away for winter. And with all the extra storage I will actually be able to move in the garage and get things done. Anyway I needed some inspiration so here it is.

Not Enough Time In The Day
Between building the new shed, work, fixing other peoples stuff and entertaining my 5 yo (which I enjoy the most). I haven't had time to do bike shit. It will be crappy weather the next couple of days so I am hoping to get out there and get welding on the CB's frame. I was just looking at my XS pics, which still needs charging problems fixed and had to at least get a pic of a bike up on my blog.
