Finally Something To Write About

Well I finally got something for free! A 1983 650 Maxim from a co worker. He bought it and was going to do a mild hack to it. He bought a new front rim, new brake pads, renthal handle bars, a new solo seat and a couple other bits. He was riding it when he bought it in April so I know I can get it going again. It only has 7500 miles on the ticker. His new wife wanted it out of the garage before winter so I was offered it. Until my divorce is over I am officially "storing it" for him, nothing in my name. I already have a hard tail and figure I am going to do something cheap and easy. And oh yeah he delivered it to me too.

1970 Plymouth Fury

Man I wish I still had my Fury. I got it when I was 17. I helped a mechanic friend swap a 360 motor from a Newport with a rotted body into the Fury with a good body. I then was able to buy it for the huge sum of $300 LOL. Wish cars were still that cheap too. Mine was the same color and had the same paisley top too. My friends called it the sperm mobile Hahaha.

Ok, the fundraiser for Val is going, but I really want to get it rolling as time is flyin, bills are coming in for her and we really need to get this slammin. So here is what im going to. Once we reach the goal of $4000 , of which we are just above $1000 , which is still awesome! and thank you to everyone who has donated and shared that post.. Im going to take everyones name that donated, no matter how much because its not about the amount, its about the compassion to help out a friend of mine who you people dont really know. Im going to write everyones name on a piece of paper, put them all in a box, shake em up, and pull one name.. That person will get a free tooled seat by me... Art of your choice.. You will have to send me the seat pan, and only have to pay shipping back n forth. If you dont have a bike? Ill do a wall hanging for you with a company Logo to hang in your office or shop... or your living room, bathroom, shed... anywhere.. Ill work it like I do all of my customers... working very close with you through the process all the way through the finished product.. I am at the end of finishing up the motorcycle work I have here and after its all done Im no longer doing Motorcycle work. I stopped taking orders on bike stuff in Feb, and have only taken 2-3 additional ones with guys I had talked to months before... So if you wanted to have one done by me, this is a ghreat chance to get it done...

This is very important to me to raise this money, although I do what I can for Val , I cant do it alone and bills dont care, they just keep rolling in.. So if you can donate? please do it . Working On The F250

Well I was driving last week when one of my shocks fell off. It turns out the PO welded, and I use that term very loosely because it looked like a dog shitted out the weld, the upper shock mount. It had broke in half and they thought the best way to hold a one ton up was to weld it instead of spending $40 for a new one and bolting it on. Anyway this breaking caused my shock to fall then get jammed into the pavement and breaking it off above the bolt on the lower mount. Anyway $100 later and the new Monroes ride beautifully. Now I realize I need new front ones because the rear is so nice.

Capitol One Sucks!!!!!

Just a little post about the shittiest credit card company out there. Capitol One just plain sucks. They say they are helping but they don't. All I want it my account number but they can't say it over the phone... WTF. I just verified my SSN, DOB and address and you can't give me my number so I can make payments? The card has been closed out and they want to send me a new card so I can have my number.... I don't want another credit card. I guess it's perfectly safe to send my number through the mail and have all kinds of people handle it but you can't say it over the phone line. Just a bunch of assholes.
