This neck was done in the '70s an had some metal braised in with a bucket of Bondo as filler to smooth it out originally. I cleaned it out, but as we all know the stock neck looks like shit, so I welded some metal in ground it down an will spot level with a LITTLE Bondo instead. It will look mucho better. I also welded in a bunch of misc holes they had on the backbone for various tanks that were on the bike through the years.

Cool Trucks
Some more pics from the Labor Day old truck show. Sorry if I repeated any from my previous post. I will be bringing the Ford to this when it comes around this year for sure.

CB 750 Frame
Finally got in the garage and got started. Got the last two cross braces done for the seat and fender support now all that's left is the small support wedges I want to put in on the wishbone and lower legs. Then fill and paint.

Fixin' Shit
Around the house. Yeah I know real exciting. I fixed the dishwasher and then the pellet stove. It kept over heating and coding out. I decided to check the room blower as I had read they can get plugged with hair and shit. I have owned the stove for about 5 years so I figured it was the problem. It was a pain in the ass to get out but was obvious it was the problem. Here are some pics.

New Speakers
The 1991 Accord's stereo was sounding pretty shitty so I bought some new CHEAP speakers for the 22 year old car. I was surprised when I took out the old ones they were actually made in the U.S.A. Imagine that a Jap car with American electronics in it. Anyway the second pic shows the cone material that connects it to the metal rim was just rotted away from the sun in the back window for 22 years. Anyway Wifey is happy now that the radio sounds good again.

The Trade
For those that don't know me, I have always wanted a late 60's to mid 70's Ford pickup. And also for those that don't know me, I have NO MONEY. Well this '76 F250 with a 460, 4" dual exhaust and stacks, chrome rims and wood bed came up for sale on TCU. He wanted $4500 in the local CL and listed in for $3800 on the board. I offered a trade of my '95 Sportster and he agreed. I went to just inside NJ on Tuesday and met him to do the trade. I hauled the bike down on a friends car trailer but the F250 wouldn't fit on the trailer so I loaded the Durango and hauled back with the new truck. It drove great and you wouldn't even know (except the gas mileage) that the trailer and truck was behind me. It needs some work like a windshield and two of the rear tires are the major things and battery cables, electric brake, interior lights are some of the minor ones. Anyway I am happy to have my truck. And now I have to fix the charging issue on the XS so I can ride this summer.
Traded this, and yes I will miss it when warm weather comes.
For this!!!
