Working on an Ironhead

Had to work out some timing issues and clean a carb for a friend, had the wife help. The bike is running good now, as she said "it just needed a woman's touch".

Nice Bike

This bike is being built by a guy (Metalho) on TCU for the Biker Build Off they have every year. Just about everything on it is custom (and not that Harley chrome dodad custom, I don't allow bikes like that on here). He has made everything from the frame jig to make his own frame to this friggin' awesome brass valve tail light.

This is my friend Mike's bike we have been working on in the garage since about November '09. It's a '73 Ironhead, the seat is a solo now and he has window bars on it instead of the drags, I will post an updated pic soon. I am going tomorrow to get a coil for it and it should be running and terrorizing the neighborhood.

Welcome To The Garage

WTF, I was thinking today as I was sitting on my ass doing nothing at work, why not start my own damn blog. I want it to be mostly about my garage and all the shit that happens in it on a daily basis. It's a small 1 car garage with a lot of stuff packed in but only the necessary shit, tools, welder, torch, micro lathe and the like. And it gets used a lot, we work on motorcycles (there's 4 in it right now), I get lawnmowers for free fix them and make some extra cash (thanks Craigslist), and plenty of cars. Anyway here's a pic of it, I built a motorcycle table from CHEP pallets and load them with a set of ramps.
